Neo becomes humanity’s last hope, as he is the only one capable of performing miracles. Neo tries to save the city of Zion, which will soon fall under the siege of the machines. Everyone, led by Morpheus, puts their full trust in Neo, and pins their hopes on him to end the war with the machines, especially as they believe in the prophecy that predicts his success. Neo and his girlfriend, Trinity, decide to accompany Morpheus to the Matrix to try to reach the heart of the system through the Keymaker. Meanwhile, Agent Smith survives the deletion, becomes more powerful than before, and sets his primary goal: to track down Neo.
